SERVICES

Our winterization efforts are among the most comprehensive in the area to prepare your boat for storage in the off season. Our certified technicians check your boat and engine for open service bulletins, run the engine(s) to temperature, change oil & oil filter, drain raw water from engine cooling system and flush with non-toxic antifreeze, clean raw water strainer, stabilize fuel and test your batteries. Of course, not all boats are created equal so we customize our process to your boat to make sure all systems needs are met.
Boat maintenance differs from boat to boat and engine to engine. Lucky for you, we have years of experience under our belt and understand the requirements for fine-tuning your vessel. We inspect fuel hose connections, fittings, engine alignment, electrical harnesses and the condition of your boat’s drive lube and transmission fluid. Our technicians run a diagnostic boat check and deliver an oil and filter change at every service check level.
You’ve used your boat hard for the first 20 hours and hopefully you’ve nailed that new surf/wakeboard trick, but now it’s time to take care of your baby, err, your boat! During this check, we are looking things over in your engine compartment from head to toe to ensure that things are how they are supposed to be. We change the engine oil and filter, change the transmission fluid and check the filter for premature wear, change the water pump impeller, check the fuel line and connections, clean the raw water strainer, check for any error codes and any open service bulletins or recall notices, check all belts and hoses for premature wear, verify accuracy of gauges and just generally give it the once over. This service is critical because the oils used in a new engine are for break-in periods only so it is important to change to full synthetic to ensure your warranty stays intact.
100-hour service checks include all the services of the 20- and 50-hour service check. In addition, we change your at water or outboard engine water pump impeller, along with any maufacturer recommended services or inspections.
De-Winterization efforts prepare your boat for launch. Our experts hook up batteries, confirm your engine starts, ensure your motor purrs and check for any leaks. We perform a courtesy inspection of your boat lights and horn and make sure your boat is ready to hit the water. For boats with ballast systems, we run them through a complete fill and empty cycle to ensure that everything is working properly and that fill and empty times are accurate. We typically change raw water impellers and ballast pump impellers in the Spring as well.
The first service is the most important service! At the first 20-hour service and inspection, we follow the manufacturer guidelines on all checks and inspections to ensure that your engine life is maximized. We change the engine oil and filter, change the gear lube in the lower unit and go through a whole host of checks and inspection points.
This check is especially important for sterndrive boats because not only are we changing the engine oil but we are also changing the sterndrive gear lube. We are looking for signs of excess wear and we are changing you over from break-in oil to full synthetic oil in both your engine and outdrive. This ensures the longest life for your new boat. During this service, we will remove the sterndrive from the boat and reinstall while aligning the engine to the driveline. In addition, we will change the water pump impeller, change the fuel filter, check the fuel line and connections, check the u-joint bellows, check the power trim fluid and pump connections, check for any error codes and any open service bulletins or recall notices, check all belts and hoses for premature wear, verify accuracy of gauges and just generally give your boat a once over.
Boat maintenance differs from boat to boat and engine to engine. Lucky for you, we have years of experience under our belt and understand the requirements for fine-tuning your vessel.
